I still recall when I was a boy accompanying my father, a State Farm Agent for forty years, to a policyholder's home that had burned down. I stood on the front lawn as my father reassured the policyholder that State Farm would help them rebuild their home and replace their cars. That was the day I realized the importance of home and auto insurance, and decided someday I would become a State Farm Agent in Seattle.
